Leave No Trace – Level 2 Instructor

Become a leader in caring for our planet. Are you passionate about protecting the outdoors for future generations? The Leave No Trace Level 2 Instructor course is designed for those committed to preserving nature and teaching others to do the same by leading Level 1 and Leave No Trace Skills courses. At the start of the course, participants will have a chance to share their personal “why” for valuing the outdoors. Though SROM is a faith-based Christian organization, this course is focused on Leave No Trace training. Our instructors will offer a brief Christian perspective on the importance of environmental stewardship, but beyond this, all teaching strictly follows the Leave No Trace curriculum. Join us and become a leader in outdoor conservation.

Pocket Wilderness Guide Training

This training equips you to lead mini wilderness retreats designed for those seeking to reconnect with God and build community. You’ll gain skills in guiding discussions, creating authentic connections, and teaching basic camping techniques, even to beginners. From logistics and sign-ups to meal planning, you’ll learn everything needed to organize a successful trip in your own area. Upon completion, you’ll also have the chance to join the SROM Affiliate Program, gaining access to resources and a supportive network of fellow guides.
