Deadline to Apply: March 1
SROM will be hiring and filling positions on an ongoing basis. So be sure to apply early!
Wilderness ministry requires individuals to have a deep and intimate walk with Jesus Christ and the desire to serve under all sorts of conditions. Those that choose to serve with SROM will experience both intense learning and genuine camaraderie. The result is an incredible experience where your life is changed as much as those to whom you are ministering.
Our support positions give individuals the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of wilderness ministry, and what it takes to run successful courses in the field. SROM depends upon its support staff for the smooth function of the ministry. The work is rewarding, but requires hard work and diligence.
If you are needing to get credit for an internship and think SROM could be a good fit, please email us a little about what you are looking for. We will then discuss with you some different options.
We also recommend checking out the Wilderness Leadership Minor as we have had several student use this course for credit for an internship.
