Arrival
After being picked up in Denver by the SROM team on July 11th, you'll head to SROM headquarters in Laramie, WY where you'll meet your leaders. The afternoon will begin with introductions and an orientation session. You'll then be issued gear and taught how to pack your bag. Dinner will be provided, and you'll spend the night at the SROM building. The following morning, you'll depart early with your team to drive to the trailhead.
On the Trip

You will spend 6 days backpacking in the epic Wind River Range. There you will see towering peaks, pristine alpine lakes and streams, and incredible starlit skies in some of the finest wilderness areas in North America. We will teach you the technical outdoor skills to thrive in the mountains, learning things such as campsite selection, route finding, and navigation.

Each day will have a spiritual theme with group time in the evenings that often includes worship, teaching, and discussion. Your leaders will model for you what it means to be a leader of the day (LOD) and then you will get a chance to be a leader of the day for at least one of the days on course. You will also get an extended time to reflect and spend time alone with God on a solo. The lessons will build upon each other, culminating with your final peak attempt.

Whether you are an expert in the mountains or a novice, this will be an unforgettable time with fellow brother's in Christ, creating memories that will last a life-time.
