Academic Partnerships

SROM offers several options to receive college credit for completing a wilderness course. Through our academic partnerships, SROM courses provide opportunity to both gain college credit and deepening your relationship and understanding of God while on course. The following schools provide students with the opportunity to receive college credit for the successful completion of a SROM course.

Columbia International University (CIU)

SROM has a Cooperative Agreement with CIU whereby students can earn 3 credits for SROM’s 20/20, 6 credits for the 40/40, or 9 credits for the 40/40 Internship. CIU grants credit as part of their Outdoor Leadership Minor.

Denver Seminary

SROM designed and implemented the following graduate courses as part of the seminary’s Outdoor Leadership Concentration:

John Brown University

SROM has a Cooperative Agreement with JBU whereby their students can earn 6 credits for SROM’s 40/40, or 9 credits for the 40/40 Internship. Read about JBU’s Outdoor Leadership Ministries Major.
