Annual Fund

Annual Fund

The financial foundation, stability, and sustainability of SROM lies in the many individuals who donate to the SROM Annual Fund. Financial contributions to the Annual Fund, whether it be ten dollars or thousands of dollars, are vital to provide capital for ongoing daily operations.

Through the donations of many that believe in the mission and vision of SROM we are able to continue providing catalytic wilderness expeditions.  The work of SROM is a constant year round endeavor.  Long after the last student has gone home for the summer, SROM is in full swing.  Each year full time staff work hard to enroll students for the coming summer, improve content and resources, raise necessary funds, develop future courses, maintain equipment and in effect prepare for the next season of ministry. The ministry and work of SROM is year round. The Annual Fund finances the everyday annual operation of SROM and our wilderness courses.

SROM wilderness courses and students are increasing in number. Therefore, we need more instructors, equipment, vehicles, trailers, materials, and equipment– all of which require a substantial amount of funds. For perspective, on average, one day in the Wind River Range for one student including gear, food, transportation, instructor salary, and overhead costs $200. To keep costs lower than the industry market, SROM charges less than the cost of covering expenses.  As a result, we rely on the generosity of others who believe in the mission and vision to partner with us each year to continue providing life changing wilderness expeditions.

Please join us as we aim to raise $80,000 a year for the Annual Fund.
